Job Summary
The Host is responsible for creating Amazing Experiences and Everlasting Memories for guests throughout the in-house stay stage of the guest journey. This role services as a key point of contact for guests, proactively anticipating their needs, responding to their requests, and ensuring their expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Create warm, personalized guest experiences by anticipating needs, providing assistance, and exceeding expectations
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the Resort, building genuine relationships with guests and gathering feedback on their experience
- Manage in-house guest requests, arrangements, concerns, and complaints, ensuring timely resolution
- Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences, communicating any relevant information to the appropriate departments
- Coordinate warm welcomes, fond farewells, special occasions, and personalized amenities
- Remain informed on upcoming guest arrivals, including VIP guests, groups, and other significant activities
- Keep an updated knowledge of Resort facilities, accommodations, services, offerings, and activities, as well as local attractions in the area
- Promote Resort experiences, identifying opportunities to convert interest into bookings
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service operations
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Manager, Host or other members of management
Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements
- Previous experience in a guest relations, guest services, front office, concierge, or similar role within a hotel or resort environment
- Strong passion for hospitality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Opera PMS, and other hospitality applicants
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced setting

Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling
- Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 50 pounds
- Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
