Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager oversees the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring compliant, effective, and consistent practices across the organization. This role supports essential Human Resources functions, including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll administration, engagement initiatives, and workforce analytics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Lead daily HR operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and high service standards

Help the Director, Human Resources with all aspects of departmental operations

Support the development, implementation, and review of HR policies and procedures

Understand, interpret, and apply federal and state (Montana) employment laws to ensure organizational compliance

Manage employee relations matters, providing performance coaching, handling disciplinary actions, and serving as a trusted advisor to managers.

Build strong, collaborative relationships with leadership to ensure the effective execution of corresponding HR processes

Participate in payroll administration, working with the Finance Department to ensure accurate compensation

Assist in the talent acquisition process, including reviewing the applicant tracking system, participating in the interview process, and enhancing the new hire welcome experience

Assist in the preparation and facilitation of training programs, including Corrective Coaching and HR Skills Development for leadership

Lead employee engagement initiatives that promote a positive colleague experience, including housing accommodation satisfaction, wellness programming, and extracurricular activities

Oversee the administration of separations, such as resignations and terminations

Compile exit interview feedback, identifying trends and reporting concerns

Manage all leave-of-absence situations, including emergency circumstances, ensuring proper documentation

Facilitate employee focus groups to gather feedback and drive engagement

Coordinate the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual management reports, including focus group findings, turnover, exit interview data, grievance reporting, and disciplinary trends

Assist with investigations related to Security reports, including theft, altercations, harassment, grievances, and other workplace incidents
- Support the housing team with all aspects of administration, including arrival coordination, move-in and move-out procedures, room inspections, and policy enforcement

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Human Resources or the General Manager
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in human resources management preferred

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human Resources Management in the luxury hospitality industry

SHRM-CP or PHR Certification strongly preferred

Must possess proven leadership abilities
