Job Summary:

 

The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to oversee One&Only Moonlight Basin's branded and property-specific marketing initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, strategic campaign development aimed at enhancing awareness and driving bookings across owned and paid channels; media planning and buying for digital, print, and social advertising; content creation and storytelling for multi-channel distribution (website, email marketing, collateral, social media); e-commerce activations; and the development of sales and marketing materials as well as guest-facing branding for the resort.

 

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in showcasing the products and expanding the One&Only Moonlight Basin brand. They will ensure adherence to One&Only’s global brand standards across all touchpoints and channels, including photography and video, collateral design, copywriting, and on-property activations. Additionally, they will support the Director of Marketing & Communications across all initiatives, ensuring that tasks are executed to the highest standard and within designated timelines.

 

We seek an accomplished and charismatic marketing manager who is excited to take on these responsibilities and more. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing marketing campaigns, and pre-openings, with a balance of skills in both daily marketing activities and long-term strategic planning. They should thrive under tight deadlines and be responsive to the company’s evolving needs.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

B2C and B2B Marketing and Communications Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with the Directors of Marketing & Communications on all marketing and communications initiatives
  • Develop and implement multichannel B2C and B2B campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms. Identify target audiences and create marketing strategies with clear objectives tailored to various channels, seasons, and segments
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications to manage B2C and B2B activations from ideation to execution, leveraging internal resources and fostering teamwork
  • Develop creative briefs and provide direction for advertising and guest-facing communications, including print, digital, and video content
  • Work alongside the Global Commercial Team to strategise digital marketing efforts, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and digital advertising
  • Execute local campaigns in addition to international initiatives to increase footfall to the Spa and F&B outlets
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications and Global Commercial Team to monitor campaign performance and analyse metrics across all channels
  • Review analytics and adjust campaign strategies as needed

 

Content Creation and Storytelling:

  • Generate ideas and develop ongoing content for emails, social media, press releases, and other digital platforms
  • Maintain the resort's master content calendar to drive monthly storytelling across all B2C channels, including the website, email marketing, and social media
  • Collaborate with operational teams to create promotional timelines and materials for events and activations in Spa, F&B, Activities, Rooms, and Destination
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing & Communications and Global Commercial Team to plan and execute resort photo and video shoots, ensuring assets are widely shared and uploaded to the central system
  • Adapt content for various marketing and communication channels, including social media, email, website, and print
  • Manage content updates for customer and internal communications and channels

 

Collateral and Design:

  • Collaborate with the team to create and design sales and marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, and toolkits
  • Design all assets needed for launching advertising campaigns, including print, digital, and social media ads
  • Ensure all guest-facing collateral, such as in-room collateral, F&B menus and event materials, is on-brand and current
  • Oversee the print production process, understanding various specifications and methods available

 

One&Only Brand Guardian:

  • Act as the One&Only brand ambassador, ensuring resort activities align with global brand standards
  • Uphold One&Only brand guidelines throughout the resort
  • Ensure all creative assets and marketing materials comply with global brand templates, including print ads, display ads, and brochures
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to represent the resort appropriately at trade shows and events with compliant sales and marketing materials

 

Project & Agency Management:

  • Collaborate with agencies, freelancers, media, and other vendors for advertising, content development, and social media efforts
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues in other departments
  • Manage projects to meet established timelines
  • Work across various functional areas to implement marketing plans for resort revenue streams, including F&B, wellness, weddings, and events
  • Familiarise yourself with and operate within marketing and communication budgets

 

 

SKILLS

  • In-depth understanding of B2C marketing and communication strategies
  • Expertise in content creation and storytelling techniques
  • Proficient in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, XD, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with content management systems
  • Knowledgeable in digital marketing, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), email marketing, lead generation, social media marketing, and other online advertising methods
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Capable of effectively speaking and presenting to groups, including customers and employees
  • Experience in brand building and demand generation through various content types—blogs, social media, video, web, and email
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Proven abilities in communication, project management, and organisation
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; comfortable and confident under tight deadlines
  • A proactive self-starter and an effective team player
  • Passionate, with integrity and energy, and a knack for generating innovative ideas
