Job Summary

Work closely with the Purchasing, Receiving, Cost Control and other Department and Section Heads regarding goods received at the Resort.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all requisitions are serially numbered and accurately posted in the system.
  • Place regular orders and reorder store items as needed.
  • Assist finance colleagues with any information related to their area of work.
  • Keep items in appropriate places in a hygienic manner.
  • Monitor daily issues with all outlets and attend to their requirements.
  • Assist with unloading and loading goods.
  • Communicate effectively and provide daily updates to finance colleagues as required.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Maintain full confidentiality regarding store items and the resort’s financial status.
  • Foster a positive and team-oriented spirit among Finance Department colleagues as well as other resort colleagues.
  • Be responsible for maintaining a proper filing system in the store area.
  • Utilize creative and positive thinking to introduce new ideas for continuous improvement of the store system, including internal controls.
  • Be prepared to assist in any other area within the department as needed.

 

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in material handling procedure
  • Organize and shelve, store, and distribute materials
  • Computer literate
  • Experience in the same field is an advantage
  • High School Diploma
