Job Summary

 

To identify, maintain and grow all asset libraries and social media platforms to ensure resort and outlet narratives are amplified and visually represented. To assist the manager in all functions relating to content and social media - content creation, community management, advertising and similar.

 

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (this list is not exhaustive):

·         Social Media:

Social media strategy, growth, optimisation and maintenance

Social media scheduling, management and engagement

Social media content generation

Social media measurement and analysis monthly in report format

Social media promotions/boosting to maximise reach & revenue

Management of META Ads (ROOI, Nobu and Verb)

Content calendar planning + short copy writing

Approvals and liaising with Global Digital on content for OOCapeTown including resizing of assets, planning of dark META ads

 

·         Photography & Videography:

Identifying the gaps, conceptualisation, story / mood board creation

Shoot coordination

Post-production storage and maintenance of assets library and distribution.

Basic editing of photos and videos.

 

·         Content Creators:

Screening, organising, booking liaising, hosting, reporting and admin.

 

·         Collateral:

Assist with content planning, coordination and short copy for event posters, brochures and other inhouse collateral.

Contribute to ideation, content and writing of ROAM.

 

·         Advertising: Print and Digital

Identify opportunities for advertising - digital - within monthly budget constraints

Content calendar creation (aligned to SBP and ops activity), distribution of copy and images to advertising partners.

Maintenance of relationship with ad partners

Negotiating advertising rates and packages

Co-ordinating all advertising components and briefing of artwork required with realistic deadlines

Manage digital buying

Provide ROI and insight reports

Ensure constant ROI and targeting

Ensure all relevant event listings are maintained

Always use tracking where possible

 

·         Other:

Management of on property communications, ensuring brand standards are met across all activations and creative story ideas are flowing - sharing of resort events and activations.

·         Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned by Marcomms Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing.

 

SKILLS

·         At least 2 years’ experience in relevant field

·         Strong communication skills: Ability to write clear and engaging content for various platforms.

·         Creativity: Developing unique and compelling social media campaigns.

·         Technical proficiency: Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software.

·         Attention to detail: Ensuring that posts are error-free and align with the brand’s voice.

·         Time management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

·         Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights.

·         Interpersonal skills: Working effectively with team members and engaging with the online community.

·         Must have their "finger on the pulse" of what is trending - both worldwide and locally 

·         Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable, confident and enthusiastic when working with tight deadlines

·         High-level understanding of Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint and Excel.

·         Proven ability to work effectively within a cross-departmental team

·         Must be a strong self-starter as well as an effective team player

·         Passion, Integrity, Energy and idea generating initiatives.

·         Experience working with ultra-luxury brands or within luxury hospitality/ travel
