We are looking for a experienced Events Manager who will be responsible for preparing all event documentation and coordinates with Sales, property departments and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases of property events.

 

Main reponsablilities :

 

 

  • Ensure that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.
  • Greet customer during the event phase and hands-off to the Event Operations team for the execution of details.
  • Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill.
  • Manage group room blocks and meeting space for average to large-sized assigned groups.
  • Identify operational challenges associated with the group and determines how to best work with the property staff and customer to solve these challenges\ and/or develop alternative solutions.
  • Act as liaison between field sales person and customer throughout the event process (organize pre-event, event, post-event).
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
  • Handle suppliers professionally in line with SOPs (selected supplier, mark up…)
  • Coordinate and communicate event details both verbally and in writing to the customer and property operations.
  • Make presence known to customer at all times during this process.
  • Oversee hither customer experiences from file turnover through the post event phase until tumover back to sales.
  • Follow up with customer post-event.
  • Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints.
     

Profil : 

 

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and presentation
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Respect of deadlines and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluency in foreign languages – French and English
