One&Only Desaru Coast is seeking a passionate and dedicated Agent, Guest Service to join our team based in Desaru, Johor. This position is only applicable for Malaysian residence. 


  • Providing a warm welcome upon arrival, escort, room orientation and accommodating special guest requests.
  • Be efficient in assisting guests throughout their stay with any requirements
  • Ensures that the Guest Services Desks are well manned, operationally prepared, and always stocked.
  • Being proactive and committed to deliver unique and everlasting memories to guests.
  • Check all updated registration cards ensuring that the information is complete, all necessary documents attached, and sufficient payment guarantee has been taken.
  • Maintain seamless interaction with guests to facilitate guest recognition, obtain preferences, anticipate guest needs and proactively action all their requests & requirements. Also maintain the privacy of guest information and details.
  • Answer all calls according to the set standard in the department training manual.
  • Ensure that all requests are handled in a timely manner and to follow up with guests for satisfaction in a service provided.
  • Prepare and carry out shift handover and to ensure that the desk is left tidy and that all tasks have been completed as per shift checklist before the end of day.
  • Log and keep the immediate supervisor fully informed of all challenges, negative feedback or unusual matters of significance 
  • Maintain a full & comprehensive knowledge of the products and services available in the state, other One&Only properties, and the local area.



About You:

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years experiences in Front Office / Guest Service or similar role in five-star hotel/resort environment.
  • Good knowledge in PRERA is an essential with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Outgoing personality with ability to communicate with guests and colleagues
  • Excellent English communication skills
