About the Role
We are looking for a highly creative and social-first Assistant Manager, Social Media to support Aquaventure World, the world’s largest waterpark. The role requires strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram and emerging social trends, alongside the ability to develop, film and execute engaging content in a fast-paced, highly active environment.
You’ll be responsible for developing fresh, trend-led and platform-native content, from generating creative ideas to filming and editing social-first content. This is a highly hands-on role, where you’ll be out across the waterpark capturing live moments, events, activations and experiences as they happen. You’ll work closely with lifeguards, operational teams, events and wider business teams to create authentic, engaging content that reflects the energy and excitement of Aquaventure. You’ll stay ahead of the latest social trends, formats, sounds and emerging platforms, turning relevant trends into creative opportunities for the brand.
About you
You are highly creative with a strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram and emerging social media trends. You have a proven ability to develop engaging content from concept through to execution, supported by excellent mobile filming and editing skills. Energetic, proactive and culturally aware, you thrive in fast-paced environments and can quickly identify and act on real-time content opportunities.
You are a confident and outgoing communicator who enjoys collaborating with a diverse range of teams and personalities. Comfortable working outdoors, around water and during live events, you bring a hands-on approach and a passion for creating compelling content that connects with audiences and drives engagement.
