About The Role
Assistant Manager in Water Quality team is primarily responsible for attending to escalated technical problem and making technical decisions related to safety and operations. Person in this role will train and develop junior colleagues, put together schedules for teams, projects and leave as well as benchmark the level of workmanship expectations within the department.
Main on the job duties and responsibilities are:
- To provide a leadership platform with the ability to respond to last-minute schedule changes, operational and inventory problems and act as a role model to team leaders and technicians
- To plan and manage large scale projects, (exceeding 100,000 USD) related to Water Quality responsibilities on budget and on schedule
- To manage the preventative maintenance programs for dedicated areas
- To ensure that quality control and quality assurance procedures are maintained
- To record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports
- To ensure government and regulatory standards are meet and maintained
About You
We are looking for candidates with minimum of 5 years’ experience in MEP supervisory role and in project management within hotel/waterparks and/or aquariums industry. You should have detailed understanding of regulatory requirements for the Amusements and Waterpark Industry, including but not limited to water chemistry requirements and DAC-16. To succeed in this role you should possess strong leadership skills and be able to comfortably communicate with senior managements as well as junior team members. You will strive to continuously pursue operational excellence and continue to train and develop your team members.
