The Attendant, Aquaventure will ensure the correct set up and maintenance of the Hotel, Aquaventure, Towel Cabanas, Guest Buggies, Guest Cabanas on daily basis as per resort standards and attending to guest in a courteous manner assisting team with any recreational request.
About the Role
- To attend to duty on time in correct uniform and well groomed, conforming to grooming standards of the Hotel.
- Attend daily briefing at the beginning of each shift.
- Be fully trained on resort standard and procedure required to carry out daily task.
- Carry out daily inspections, inform and follow up any maintenance work related to beach, Cabanas, Towel cabanas and buggies.
- Liaise with other departments such as Facilities, F&B and Housekeeping about their involvement to ensure the Guest Cabana, Towel Cabana and Guest Buggy operation is flawless and presents 5-star quality.
- Responsible for daily operation of the Aquaventure Guest Cabanas – Ensuring all Cabana’s are set up in 5-star presentation, that all Cabanas are prepared and ready for guest, and ensure that service within the Cabana is carried out to the set standards by ATP.
- Ensure fully understand the cabana operation in waterpark and reservation, payment procedures.
- Ensure to be fully knowledgeable with food menu in all outlets of waterpark.
- Carried out day to day cabana Food & beverage service as per resort standards.
- Ensure cabanas are kept clean and set up for each guest throughout the day.
- Responsible for daily operation of the Resort’s Guest Buggy Service - Ensuring all safety protocols are being followed through the buggy operation by enforcing rules and polices.
- Conduct safety inspection to the buggy prior and after using of the buggy and take full ownership for buggy during duty hours.
- Assisting in waterpark & resort Emergencies as needed and ensuring that the EAP is followed in accordance with the emergency.
- Responsible for daily operation of the Aquaventure Towel Cabanas - Ensuring all Towel Cabana’s are set up in 5-star presentation, ensuring adequately trained with the cabana’s POS system, ensure all cabanas are stocked with the needed number of towels and ensure that service within the towel cabana is carried out to the set standards by ATP.
- Cashiering as per hotel Cashiering Policy and Procedure.
- Ensure fully understand towel cabana operation and collect all soil towels as per standards.
- Assisting Colleagues to ensure that their task is completed and that their areas of responsibility are running properly when needed.
- Ensure all daily opening/closing procedures and reports are being completed as per resort standards.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, and Health & Safety.
- Report Lost Children and Parents / Lost Guest Property.
- Handling guest complaints, incidents and injuries as needed.
- Ensure all staff issues are addressed to the management and followed up.
- Prepare and maintain pool/ waterpark deck areas, beach area as per resort standards and collect rubbish on beaches and deck areas. Ensure the assigned is kept clean and set up for each guest throughout the day.
- Report guest comments and all incident to management immediately.
- Have thorough knowledge of daily resort attraction, events, and special promotion.
- Attend training when required by resort.
- Washing & cleaning cabanas, umbrellas, Sun loungers and mattress.
- Moving heavy items Such as sun loungers, Umbrellas, cabanas by hand or using trolley/Cargo buggy.
- Performs any other duties as assigned to him by management.
About You
- High School Level studies.
- 1-year experience in Hospitality Environment (Hotel, F&B, and/or Leisure) or Hospitality Study certification.
- Required above average level of English in speaking, reading, writing
- knowledge and use of Microsoft Office would be advantageous.
- Strong customer focus to interact with guest of different nationalities, ages, ethnicities, genders, and speaking abilities.
- Physical Ability to work in extreme weather conditions such as sandstorms and heat excessive of 40 degrees, for long periods of time (Up to 10 hours a day minimum).
- Physical Ability to stand walk for long periods of time (Up to 10 hours a day minimum)
- Physical Ability to drives guest golf carts for long periods of time.
- Driving license would be advantageous.
- F&B knowledge would be advantageous.
