About The Role

Greet all guests upon arrival, distribute towels, offer assistance with seating, opening umbrellas, and hand out complimentary guest amenities.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities  

•    Understands the company’s objectives and standards, values, and culture of the company applying them on the job daily. 
•    Achieves customers’ expectations and performance targets of the department.
•    Knowledgeable of pool facilities such as length and depth of all pools.
•    Knowledgeable of hotel facilities and services to answer guest inquiries directly or by phone.
•    Willing to take ownership of all guest requests and complaints, try to resolve issues immediately, and follow up to ensure the guests' satisfaction.
•    Identify and report defects throughout the pool area, and notify supervisors and concerned departments immediately of hazards, injuries, equipment, or processes that negatively affect the operations.
•    Ensure the pool deck area including loungers, mattresses, side table & umbrellas are cleaned daily and all maintenance issues are reported to the Engineering department.
•    Align and set up all pool deck furniture in the correct place, when setting up in the morning & closing in the evening.
•    Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment for self and others.
•    Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool deck and facilities including collecting soiled towels and trash, moving chairs, and towels and cleaning signs.
•    Work closely with other departments that are essential to ensuring a positive guest experience.
•    Properly utilize performance feedback, recognition, training, and adherence to company policies, and legal requirements.
•    Provide assistance/support to other departments when needed.
•    Liaise with the kitchen on complimentary guest amenities including fruit skewers, and ice lollies as well as handing out/distributing amenities according to the set timings.
•    Knowledge of the principles and practices of resuscitation, first aid, and CPR/PR techniques.
•    Ensures Security awareness and safekeeping of all valuables trusted in your care (e.g. company’s equipment).
•    Ensures awareness of emergency procedures and carries out tasks in emergencies. 
•    Ensures the cleanliness of all areas in the gym and its equipment, including the cardio-vascular area, resistance, and free weights area.
•    Performs other duties as requested by superiors as and when required.
•    Follows standard operating procedures and policies.
•    Adheres to the Business Conduct and Ethics Policy.
•    Adheres to the Conduct on Duty and in Public Areas policy.
•    Adheres to the Telephone Standards.

 

Experience & Educational Requirements

•    Diploma / Degree equivalent education.
•    Diploma / Degree equivalent Hotel related education
•    Physically fit for the position 
•   1-year relevant experience in a 5-star hotel.
•    Time management.
•    Good communication skills, (written and verbal)
•    People management experience
