With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Bar Manager to join Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond overseeing day-to-day bar operations. As a Bar Manager, you will lead and inspire the bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while creating a vibrant, engaging, and welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of bar operations, including beverage service, inventory control, team development, financial performance, and service excellence.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team, you will ensure the highest standards of quality, creativity, consistency, and guest satisfaction are always maintained. You will drive operational efficiency, develop innovative beverage offerings, maximize revenue opportunities, and uphold our company’s core values while ensuring a world-class bar experience for every guest.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding beverage experiences.
• Monitor beverage quality and ensure all drinks are prepared according to established recipes and brand standards.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, requisitions, and storage of all beverages, operating supplies, and equipment.
• Control beverage costs through effective stock management, inventory audits, and waste minimization.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of all bar areas and equipment.
• Develop and implement beverage promotions, upselling initiatives, and revenue-generating strategies.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare operational reports, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to deliver seamless service and achieve departmental objectives.
• Build strong guest relationships, handle guest feedback professionally, and ensure prompt resolution of concerns.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and achieving financial targets for the outlet.
• Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed in accordance with company standards.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to support operational excellence and business success.

A suitable candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale bar environment, with proven experience in bar operations and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong beverage knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. They should be a dynamic leader, highly organized, business-minded, and capable of excellence in driving service, team performance, and revenue growth. Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.
