About The Role
- Liaise closely with the front office team to ensure smooth guests’ arrival and departure experience.
- Proactively help guests with any requests that they may have during the stay.
- Create Joy through preferences, personalization, and details.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of all outlets, opening hours, menus, amenities, activities (both on property and offsite) to build trust and act as a brand ambassador to advocate the property and company as a whole.
- Ensure full knowledge of guest information regarding the property, the location, local culture, arts, nature, people and what is going on in the area etc.
- Answer all guest requests and questions in a friendly and caring manner provide/receive information and take appropriate actions or refer the matters to the relevant persons to handle.
- Welcome the guests upon their arrival in a friendly and caring manner according to standards and open the hotel door for all incoming guests.
- Provide assistance with guest luggage, both upon arrival and departure. Assist guests in transporting their bags to and from their rooms or vehicles, ensuring their belongings are handled with care.
- Collect luggage from guest rooms and keep them in a secure area until guest departure.
- Maintain visibility in the lobby entrance area and offer assistance to guests when seeing them carrying their luggage on their own.
- Upon request, store guest luggage in the luggage storage room. Handle all luggage with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of luggage storage room.
- Open car door for all guests coming out of a taxi or car, provide assistance with their luggage and bring it to the hotel in an efficient and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Control the traffic to ensure that there are no vehicles blocking the hotel entrance.
- Hoist and lower the flags according to the hotel procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of hotel main entrance area, take corrective actions if needed.
- Monitor the entrance area, control access to the hotel, and keep an eye out for any suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals.
- Ensure compliance with the LQA/Forbes Standards.
- Being brand ambassador in creating amazing experiences and everlasting memories for the guests.
- Ensure full knowledge of guest information regarding the property, the location, local culture, arts, nature, people, what is happening in the area etc.
- Ensure that all internal and local rules, policies, and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.
About You
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Friendly, approachable, and willing to assist guests with their needs and inquiries.
