With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie (Pastry) to join the One&Only team at The One&Only The Palm Hotel in Dubai.

 

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships where you will be assigned to the tasks in accordance with the standard operating procedures as implemented by the Executive Pastry Chef. He/she must ensure that proper hygiene and sanitation in the outlet kitchen under his/her jurisdiction. He/she must maintain an adequate stock of food supply, inter department coordination and be involve in training. He/she carries the full responsibility of the operating equipment including its inventory levels. He/she will ensure of maintaining the outlet food cost. He/she also must ensure and enforce the service standard by directing, supervising and motivating the staffs to perform to the highest level of service. He/she will communicate with the guests and share feedback with the chef in charge and the management. The feedback then will ensure high levels of food and service quality and guest satisfactions are always maintained.

 

Suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Executive Pastry Chef. He must be highly qualified and must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in an upscale luxury hospitality industry or five-star hotels. He must have a strong attention to details, flexibility, creativity and must be able to work under pressure. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English is a must and/or another language. Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
