About the role
Do you have a passion for culinary excellence and love the energy of a fast-paced, guest-facing kitchen? Are you excited by the opportunity to grow your skills in a live cooking, open kitchen environment where your performance is part of the guest experience? As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the Chef de Partie in managing your section’s daily operations — from mise en place to real-time service at live stations. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, a willingness to take initiative, and the ability to work seamlessly within a high-performing team. You will actively participate in preparation and cooking during service hours, while ensuring hygiene and safety standards are consistently met.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Commis or be currently working as a Demi Chef de Partie in a high-end international hotel or restaurant. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work seamlessly in a multicultural environment. In addition to culinary expertise, the ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of HACCP, a strong understanding of general health and safety practices in the workplace. You will also be expected to assist with kitchen coordination, support other sections when needed, follow health and safety procedures, and take pride in presenting every dish to the highest standards.
