About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Network and Security to join our team. The ideal candidate should hold multiple cybersecurity certifications, including CCIE and CISSP, and have over 10 years of experience in network and security management. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network and data systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive network and security strategies.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead incident response and manage security framework.
- Conduct regular network security audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance security protocols.
- Manage and mentor a team of network and security professionals.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology.
Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements
- CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification is required.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification will be preferred.
- Additional certifications such as CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), and CompTIA Security+ will be preferred

- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- CompTIA Network+
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in network and security management.
- Extensive experience with network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, VLANs and other security technologies.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Wi-Fi networks, including experience with enterprise-grade Wi-Fi solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of Wi-Fi Hotspot 2.0 (Passpoint) technology and its implementation would be added advantage.
- Extensive experience with core Cisco network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco IOS and NX-OS.
- Experience with network management tools and platforms.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and Check Point firewalls will be preferred.
- Familiarity with advanced firewall features such as threat prevention, VPNs, and application control.
- Proven experience in the implementation of cybersecurity products and solutions.
- Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
- Knowledge of phishing protection systems and strategies.
- Experience with Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) systems and policies.
- Familiarity with antivirus solutions and their deployment.
- Experience with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
