About the role


As Director, Sales, you will be responsible for the comprehensive leadership, planning, guest service, strategic sales, and financial performance of leisure sales across Atlantis the Palm and Atlantis the Royal and will strategically manage existing accounts and develop new business for the resorts from all key markets locally and internationally. You will also manage all sales activities and events, including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, and management of the sales team, whilst ensuring the key differentiators of Atlantis the Palm versus Atlantis the Royal are communicated to the clients and have their understanding of each product’s value.


A key part of this role will be to penetrate the luxury segment fits to Atlantis the Royal (directly and indirectly) and drive luxury business toward the properties and being responsible for creating the strategy to leveraging on both products, and balance business between Atlantis the Palm and Atlantis the Royal, and positioning both hotels as one destination, Atlantis Dubai. You will also be responsible for setting and maintaining consortia segment (Virtuoso network, American Express GDS bookings) for Atlantis the Royal.


About you


The successful Director of Sales candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ previous 5* resort or hotel experience at Director level, working with global markets, and a strong commercial and strategic leadership background. You will have a previous track record of successfully managing and driving a team towards target driven success, and understand key business indicators and competitive trends, and develop approaches to these challenges.
