Engineering Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Engineering Department, ensuring efficient coordination of maintenance, procurement, inventory, contractors, compliance, and interdepartmental requirements while maintaining ultra-luxury hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support and maintain engineering records, reports, permits, certifications, and CMMS work orders.
- Manage engineering stores, spare parts, stock levels, audits, and inventory records.
- Raise and track Opex/Capex purchase requests, quotations, orders, and deliveries.
- Maintain AMCs, warranties, and service contracts; monitor renewals, schedules, and contractor performance.
- Support Earth Check, sustainability initiatives, regulatory compliance, audits, and corrective actions.
- Track engineering-related guest complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors, site visits, service reports, and outstanding requirements.
- Coordinate engineering activities with other departments, including preventive maintenance, projects, shutdowns, and events.
- Support team training, onboarding, records, and employee engagement.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in Engineering Administration, Facilities Management, or Hospitality Engineering.
- Luxury hotel/resort experience preferred.
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory, maintenance operations, CMMS, and contractor coordination.
- Understanding of sustainability, EarthCheck, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
