About The Role
The team leader florist will create professional and attractive floral arrangements for Public areas and Guest rooms and keeping with modern trends to meet the high quality & expectation of One&Only One Zaabeel. Produce and maintain seasonal decorations. Coordinate and check flower supplier delivery’s and installations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Review and prepare daily and monthly flower standing orders / requests.

Ensure daily touch up of all floral arrangements in the various outlets and guest rooms of the Hotel.

Receives and checks on the fresh flowers received and report large damages / spoilage, discrepancies to Manager.

Orders flowers according to requirement.

Establish flower replenishing schedules for public areas, F&B outlets, and guest rooms.

Always ensure sufficient supplies.

Keep up to date on new trends in floral displays and combinations, etc.

Prepare, review, and verify monthly flower expense report and submit to Executive Housekeeper.

Prepares a monthly cross charge report to Finance.

Keep accurate records and applies charges with regards to orders, receiving and distribution to guest rooms, public areas, F&B outlets, special events.

Ensure flower room and fridge is well always maintained.

Ensure flowers are cleaned, cut, and stored properly in the flower room to prolong the life of fresh flowers.

Maintains a safe work practices.

Work to minimize the flower wastage and maximize reuse when possible and ensure to be within the budget.

Coordinates daily with Flower suppliers.

Checks the quality of flowers and arrangement delivered to the Hotel.

Captures pictures and details of flower arrangements in Hotel.

Tracks guest flower preferences.
About You
-
Must hold Diploma in Hospitality or (Be Fluent in Spoken & Written English, any other foreign language is a plus factor) or a Diploma in Floristry

Must poses certificate in Floristry or prove extensive courses and training.

Must be skilled to perform the job of a florist.

Must be creative and artistic, and passionate about flowers and decorations.

Must have minimum 5 years job experience in a five-star Hotel.
