About the role
We are looking for experienced Sous Chefs to join the Culinary Division in One&Only One Za’abeel – the most sophisticated and dynamic kitchen operations team in the region. If you’re eager to learn from the best. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to work in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant environment and play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

- Fine dining (French, Japanese cuisine)
- Buffet operations (high volume operations)
- Casual dining (lounges, family friendly venues, pool and beach operations)
As a Sous Chef you will assist Chef de Cuisine with leading, managing and organizing all requirements to the highest standards in accordance with the resort policies and procedures. You will be accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations and exhibit culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Our Sous Chefs continually improve guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
About You
To succeed in this role, you need at least 5 years’ experience, with at least 1-2 years’ in a similar supervisory position or above. You should have extensive background in a 5* luxury environment, whether it’s hotel-based operations or standalone reputable restaurant group. Ability to oversee complex and fast paced operations while maintaining high levels of service delivery and colleague recognition is crucial in this role.
