With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hammam Manager to join One&Only Royal Mirage Hotel in Dubai.

 

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success and your role goes beyond developing potential relationships with our clients where you will be responsible for leading operational and financial direction of oriental spa. He/she will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of the oriental spa are adhered to, and that guest experience exceeds expectation.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • To be responsible for the overall management and performance of the Oriental Spa, ensuring high standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance.
  • To be responsible for the quality of service, and maintenance of the product at the Oriental Spa in line with Hotel Operating Standards.
  • To prepare monthly financial and statistical reports, incorporating proposals and recommendations regarding policy and operation at the Oriental Spa, competition, occupancy and usage, market share and achievement of targets.
  • To develop and submit an annual budget and business plan for the Oriental Spa. To be responsible for the achievement and regular review of the business plan and budget.
  • To liaise with the Hotels Sales and Marketing Manager in the preparation and development of marketing plans for the year. To coordinate all promotional plans and projects for the facility.
  • To provide leadership, direction, and support to the employees at the Oriental Spa to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver high standards of service in all areas.
  • To effectively integrate the Oriental Spa within the Hotel Marketing Strategy and to ensure ongoing representation of the Oriental Spa, both internally and externally.
  • To develop an annual training plan for the Oriental Spa, in conjunction with the HR Department and ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business.
  • To monitor standards of performance and member satisfaction and introduce measures to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.
  • To lead the planning and implementation of marketing activities within the Oriental Spa, with support from the Hotel.
  • To ensure that good practice is applied to all issues in relation to employees and in conjunction with the HR Department, ensure that all Hotel HR policies and procedures are followed.
  • To provide an effective structure for communication within the Oriental Spa at all levels.

 

Suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Director of Spa and should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ managerial experience in Moroccan Hammam. He/She must have excellent knowledge of all aspects of Hammam Operations, excellent organizational and administrative skills. He/she must have excellent communication skills in all aspects professional and appropriate business appearance and presentation. He/she must have excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Arabic languages. Middle East/GCC experience is an advantage.
