About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Hotel Manager to lead the performance of One&Only One Za’abeel, overseeing a complex and highly curated ultra-luxury operation. This role requires a strong Food and Beverage background combined with a deep understanding of Rooms and Spa, ensuring continuous elevation of the guest experience across every touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational and financial performance across a diverse destination dining portfolio, while delivering a seamless, innovative, and continually evolving guest experience within Rooms and Spa
- Drive revenue, productivity, and cost optimization through detailed analysis of financial performance, payroll, and departmental results
- Elevate Food and Beverage concepts, execution, and guest engagement across multiple venues, experiences, and activations
- Provide guidance and challenge to the Director of F&B on innovation, trends, and competitive positioning
- Ensure outlet concepts, programming, and experiences align with brand standards and market positioning
- Drive cross-functional alignment between F&B, Rooms, Entertainment, Marketing, and Revenue team
- Continuously enhance Room offerings, focusing on personalization, service delivery, and overall product quality
- Partner with departmental leaders across Food and Beverage and Rooms to build a seamless guest experience
- Champion innovation, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of the resort
- Maintain strong oversight of labour productivity, cost control, purchasing, and inventory management
- Ensure all operations align with One&Only brand standards and ultra-luxury service expectations
- Partner closely with the General Manager to shape and lead a high-performing senior leadership team, creating a culture defined by energy, creativity, and genuine connection, where both guests and colleagues experience moments of joy, recognition, and belonging
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in ultra-luxury hospitality environments
- Strong background in Food and Beverage, ideally within complex or destination dining operations
- Solid understanding of Rooms and Spa operations within a luxury resort setting
- Proven financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Forbes Five-Star standards, with a clear understanding of luxury service delivery, quality assurance, and guest journey mapping
- A visible and inspiring leader who brings together culinary and service excellence under one cohesive vision, leading from within the operation to energise teams, elevate performance, and shape the guest experience through real-time engagement
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to drive performance in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
