About The Role

The Housekeeping Intern supports the housekeeping team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This internship offers practical training in room cleaning, inventory management, and operational efficiency within the hospitality industry. Ideal for students pursuing a career in hospitality or hotel operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities  

•        Assist housekeeping staff in cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to hotel standards.
•    Replenish guestroom supplies such as linens, toiletries, and minibar items.
•    Help with laundry operations, including collecting, sorting, and folding linens.
•    Support room inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
•    Learn proper usage and handling of housekeeping equipment and chemicals.
•    Maintain cleanliness and organization in housekeeping work areas and storage rooms.
•    Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment of cleaning supplies and amenities.
•    Observe and adhere to hotel safety, hygiene, and security procedures.
•    Interact politely and professionally with guests when encountered in rooms or hallways.
•    Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
•    Understand daily housekeeping operations in a hotel environment.
•    Learn industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest room preparation.
•    Gain hands-on experience in housekeeping tasks, laundry procedures, and inventory control.
•    Develop time management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
•    Build a foundation for a future career in hotel operations or hospitality services.


Experience & Educational Requirements

•    Currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Tourism program. 
•    Practical Training in School
