Position Overview: 

Manager, Human Resources will provide overall leadership and direction to the HR Operations team at Atlantis Dubai. The Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers against all HR Operations objectives, including overseeing colleague issues, SAP management, payroll, benefits administration, and providing high levels of customer service. This role requires a strong focus on ensuring compliance, quality service delivery, and strategic operational management. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with other HR Operations Managers to provide strategic leadership and direction to the HR Operations team, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality HR services in line with company policies, local regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs). 
  • Oversee colleague issue management, SAP processes, payroll, leave management, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of colleague concerns. 
  • Implement measures to maintain the accuracy of data in SAP and establish checks and balances to identify inconsistencies. Provide training to team members to enhance skills and prevent future data discrepancies. 
  • Enhance colleague onboarding and offboarding procedures for a seamless and efficient experience, minimizing bureaucratic obstacles, leveraging systems and automation, and reducing the margin for error to ensure a top-notch colleague journey. 
  • Facilitate timely colleague exit interviews and promptly escalate any noteworthy concerns or recurring themes to the Employee Relations department for further analysis and action. 
  • Collaborate with Assistant Managers and team leaders to set clear objectives, provide guidance, and ensure the effective management of colleague issues, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies, workflows, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and quality outputs across all HR Operations functions. 
  • Proactively identify issues, trends, and areas for improvement, leveraging data and analytics to drive operational initiatives and enhancements in service delivery and colleague experience. 
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, alignment, and execution of HR processes and initiatives. 
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of HR systems, processes, and outputs to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency, and implement corrective actions as required. 
  • Review and revise HR operations policies to align with current local UAE labor laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure full compliance. 
  • Take the lead in preparing for annual internal and external audits, facilitating smooth processes, and providing necessary documentation to demonstrate adherence to legal requirements and established standards. 
  • Drive the development and implementation of colleague support initiatives, training programs, and performance management processes to strengthen team capabilities and enhance service delivery. 
  • Represent the HR Operations team in cross-departmental meetings, contribute to strategic planning, and liaise with senior management to provide updates, reports, and recommendations. 
  • Any other responsibilities as shared from time to time by the Director, Human Resources

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus. 
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing HR Operations teams, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Strong understanding of HR systems including SAP, processes, and best practices, with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and quality service delivery. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage data and trends to drive strategic operational improvements. 
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to HR operations in the UAE is essential. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Experience in conducting audits, assessments, and process evaluations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
