About the role

 

The Marine and Waterpark, Public Relations Manager is a vital part of the department in driving the overall PR strategy in support of the brand’s marine and waterpark operation, including Aquaventure waterpark, The Lost Chambers, Dolphin Bay and Sea Lion Point. A secondary aspect to the role, will be to support the brand’s sustainability and CSR initiative Atlantis Atlas Project.

 

This role will involve working closely with the PR Director and Director of Conservation & CSR. The PR Manager will generate qualitative global visibility for the world’s largest waterpark, Aquaventure, as well as the full marine and waterpark operation including the largest open-air aquarium in the region The Lost Chambers, Dolphin Bay, and Sea Lion Point. The role will also require strategic PR support across all CSR, sustainability, and education initiatives within Atlantis Atlas Project.

 

The PR function is responsible for building, creating, promoting, and amplifying the Aquaventure brand and its encompassing experiences, including the tactical use and engagement of traditional media, broadcast, influencers, celebrities, content creators and partners. In addition, the role will include developing the PR strategy to support the expansion of Aquaventure waterpark into the world’s largest aquatic theme park.

 

The candidate who fills this PR Manager role will also be responsible for strategic direction and implementation of PR campaigns for Atlantis Atlas Project, supporting the brand’s endeavors to be a leader in responsible tourism, ensuring that we stand above the rest, whilst providing guest experiences which are more extraordinary than ever.

 

The role will be based in Dubai working across both Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis the Royal.

 

 

About you

 

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience working in communications, corporate communications (in-house, in government, media company or at a PR agency).

 

You will also preferably have theme park or attraction experience and already have established media, influencer, and celebrity contacts across the GCC and potentially globally, with a unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking sustainability initiatives, as well as a waterpark/theme park expansion project. You must have a passion for attractions and the guest experience, as well as marine conservation and animal welfare. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with your hand on the pulse of the global landscape.
