Job Summary

Atlantis Dubai’s Talent Acquisition team recruit across two world class resort (Atlantis The Palm & Atlantis The Royal)  and Aquaventure waterpark. As a Manager, Talent Acquisition, this role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process for their assigned divisions. Ensuring efficient sourcing, screening and selection of high caliber candidates meeting specifications set out by the hiring teams.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


Recruitment & Selection

  • Review the approved manning with the Director, Talent Acquisition and drive the hiring strategy for assigned division.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process for assigned division, from requisition to offer stage.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, recruitment agencies, and events to ensure effective pipeline of candidates.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing and relationship management.
  • Conduct pre-screening, short listing and selecting of potential applicants.
  • Actively involved in hiring for all levels from entry roles up to managerial.
  • Carry out interview process as per the resort interview and selection policy and procedures.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the post interview feedback with department hiring manager.
  • Co-ordinate selection tests and assessments with departmental hiring manager.
  • Effectively manage the candidate offer process, Adhering to the resort approved compensation and benefits.
  • Manage mass hiring recruitment events both locally and overseas when required.
  • Lead various Talent Acquisition projects, driving process, efficiency and best practice
  • Conduct research on recruitment trends in hospitality industry (Global, GCC and Dubai)
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed to seek approval should any exceptions be required.
  • Regular meetings with division heads to review hiring forecasts, expected new openings, resignations, Internal movements and hiring challenges.
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to create compelling recruitment materials and campaigns
  • Develop and enhance the employer brand to attract high-quality candidates and promote the company as an employer of choice. 

Agency Management

  • To liaise with local and international recruitment agents in recruiting talents
  • Prepare agent score card and provide feedback to agent after each recruitment trip. (Mass Recruitment)
  • Assist with the design of recruitment presentation and materials for recruitment trips.
  • Manage the talent pipelines together with the Director, Talent Acquisition
  • Conduct research on new source market and provide sound advice to the Director, Talent Acquisition on ways to attract talents into the business.
  • Ensure agency SLA is adhered to and agencies are updated and replied to in a timely manner.


Candidate Experience

  • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Implement best practices for candidate engagement and communication.
  • Manage candidate expectation from the initial meeting to onboarding stage.
  • Effectively Communicate with all candidates making sure all unsuccessful candidates are informed once the position is closed..
  • Actively engage in sourcing industry professionals to build a talent pipeline, for the high turn-over and specialist roles.


Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure the accurate reporting of your approved manning and candidates.
  • Ensure your divisions and stakeholders are kept up to date with status of roles.
  • Keep up to date with expected hotel guest demographics to align with hiring and candidate diversity.
  • Always ensure the Applicant Tracking System (Success Factors) is kept updated.
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify area of improvement.
  • Compliance with Kerzner required Audit standards.
  • Ensure all Talent Acquisition folders are kept up to date with required documentation
  • Keep up to date with U.A.E labor legislation relevant to recruitment and selecting and keep the teams notified on findings.



  • Conduct Effective Interviewing Skills training to Hiring Managers as required
  • Train all new Hiring Managers of the hiring process, manning approval process and ATS Success Factors
  • Ensure the Assistant Managers and Administrators in Talent Acquisition and developed and upskilled to ensure a succession planning is in place and they can hold the role in the absence of the Manager.
  • All other duties as may be assigned by the Director, Talent Acquisition.


Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources management or similar
  • Five years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition/HR role with 2 years at Managerial level
  • Experience in recruiting within the Hospitality sector preferred
  • A proven track record in mass hiring in a busy, high volume environment.
  • Proficient using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking Systems is required.
  • Knowledge of selection tools and assessments desired.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office Programs.
