We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and service-driven Order Taker to join our restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests placing orders, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a warm hospitality experience with every interaction.

About The Role

• Answer incoming calls and take guest food and beverage orders accurately

• Provide clear menu explanations, recommendations, and upselling suggestions

• Enter orders into the POS system with a high level of accuracy

• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order preparation and delivery

• Confirm order details including special requests and dietary requirements

• Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor concerns in a professional manner

• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily promotions

• Ensure all billing details are correct before processing

• Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards at all times

About You 

• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment preferred

• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting

• Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
