About The Role
As a Pool Attendant at The Meydan Hotel, you will play a key role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of guests at our stunning infinity pool. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of service and hospitality in a luxurious environment.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the pool area, including lounge chairs, towels, and surrounding facilities.
- Monitor poolside safety by enforcing pool rules, assisting lifeguards, and responding promptly to guest inquiries or concerns.
- Provide exceptional guest service by offering towels, setting up loungers, and attending to guests’ needs with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist the Food & Beverage team by delivering guest orders at the poolside, ensuring timely and accurate service while maintaining a friendly and attentive presence.
- Support the setup and breakdown of poolside events and activities, ensuring all equipment and amenities are in excellent condition.
- Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or incidents immediately to the appropriate supervisor or management.
- Assist in inventory management of pool supplies, including towels and amenities, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting the daily operations of pool and leisure facilities, with a strong commitment to guest service and safety.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team, contributing to a positive and safety-focused environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure timely and accurate poolside service.
- Experience in assisting with the planning and delivery of leisure activities and events for guests.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in pool, gym, and leisure settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented mindset and attention to service quality.
- Background in inventory management of pool supplies and experience with equipment setup and maintenance is an asset.
- Relevant studies or coursework in Sports Management, Leisure Studies, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
