With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Public Area Attendant to join the Housekeeping team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond developing meaningful relationships with our guests and colleagues.

As a Public Area Attendant, you play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all public spaces of the resort. You will ensure that all public areas are consistently well-presented, tidy, and stocked with necessary amenities. Your role includes responding to guest requests, supporting smooth daily operations, and always upholding our company’s core values.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a polite and professional greeting to all guests encountered in public areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide assistance where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest-facing spaces.
• Ensure all public areas are always well-presented by removing debris, dusting, and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of high-traffic areas, restrooms, and entrances.
• Replenish supplies such as tissues, hand soap, paper towels, and other amenities in public restrooms.
• Ensure all furniture, fixtures, and fittings in public areas are arranged and maintained according to brand standards.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored properly after use.
• Maintain storage areas in a clean, organized, and well-stocked condition.
• Always uphold guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to company grooming standards and uniform requirements.

A suitable candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort. Strong knowledge of housekeeping and hygiene standards is essential. The candidate must have good presentation, be a team player, and ensure public areas are clean and well-maintained. Good English communication skills are required; additional languages are an advantage.
