About the role


Do you have a passion for sales? Do you love over exceeding targets and pursuing new and exciting business opportunities? Then our Sales Division is awaiting your application today! As a Sales Manager - Leisure, you will develop and drive Room Night and Revenue performance across all North and South American, or European markets. You will proactively collaborate with respective Market Managers across other geo-source markets to actively drive Consortia & Travel Agent Segment, in particular; UK (SELECT, AMEX), Southern Europe (Virtuoso & Traveler Made) and Australia (AMEX, Virtuoso). Also, you will effectively roll-out and manage an ATP Amenity Programme, in collaboration with internal departments (Reservations, Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, ShuiQi Spa & Fitness and Housekeeping) to ensure HNWI guests are efficiently and appropriately recognised pre-arrival and throughout their duration of stay.


You will be responsible for growing and maintaining share of inbound leisure markets from assigned account markets, and contracting and developing relationships with local DMCS and international operators. You will also take an entrepreneurial approach to dynamically leverage trade partnerships, and represent Atlantis The Palm at international trade shows.


About you


The successful Sales Manager - Leisure, will have previous experience working with a 5-star resort/hotel, or an international travel agency with a minimum of 5 years of experience specialising in luxury Consortia experience, or hospitality/travel trade industry experience.


You will possess a flair for sales holding a passion to increase all sales opportunities whilst applying your strong negotiation skills complemented by your ability to develop and build rapport with prospective clients. Academic qualification is not essential, but our ideal candidate will be fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and generate demand for resort and hotel venues. You will be a curious, fast-learner, with a fearless attitude and a passion for sales as well as comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. A proven track record of leisure sales within the Americas or European market is advantageous.
