Key Duties and Responsibilities
- 
Serve guests in assigned section under the supervision of the Head Waiter and prepares mise-en-place daily
 
- 
Take customer orders and deliver food and beverages
 
- 
Answer any menu questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverages, daily specials, retail, on-going promotions, etc.
 
- 
Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability
 
- 
Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
 
- 
Follow the standard sequence of service as per outlet SOP
 
- 
Actively upsell at all opportunities to help increase the average check
 
- 
Anticipate guests needs and to react to these in order to provide maximum guests satisfaction and to promote guest relations
 
- 
Stock up all workstations and ensure they are operationally ready
 
- 
Clear all soiled dishes from workstations
 
- 
Demonstrate teamwork by co-operating and assisting colleagues as needed
 
- 
Assist the Head Waiter in running the daily operations
 
- 
Adhere to all cash handling policies and procedures
 
- 
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications
 
- 
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
 
- 
Any other duties as assigned from time to time
 
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- 
Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant
 
- 
International experience preferred
 
- 
Excellent communication skills
 
-
