About the Role

As a Banquet Sous Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for a wide range of events, from exclusive gatherings to large-scale banquets, weddings, and corporate functions. Supporting the Banquet Chef, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the banquet kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and hygiene are maintained at all times.

You will lead and inspire a talented culinary team, coordinating food preparation and service to ensure seamless execution of events while meeting guest expectations and operational requirements. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. You will also be responsible for inventory management, cost control, team development, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

About You

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within banquet, catering, or large-volume hotel operations. You possess a strong culinary background, excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, and a proven ability to deliver outstanding quality while managing multiple events simultaneously.

You are a hands-on leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of motivating and developing a diverse team. A strong understanding of food safety regulations, kitchen operations, and cost management is essential. Passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction, you thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences that exceed expectations.
