Job Summary

Dedicated and detail-oriented Steward with experience in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and service excellence in a luxury hotel environment. Skilled in supporting kitchen and service teams, handling cleaning and sanitation procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Known for efficiency, teamwork, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences in fast-paced, high-end hospitality settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, restaurant, and service areas at all times
• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment properly
• Follow hotel standards, HACCP, and food safety regulations strictly
• Assist chefs and service staff with basic kitchen and service support tasks
• Handle waste disposal and recycling according to hotel procedures
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, workstations, and storage areas
• Support smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service and guest satisfaction

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, luxury hotel environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Time management and multitasking abilities
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and equipment
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and handle manual tasks
• Willingness to follow instructions and hotel SOPs
• Previous experience as a Steward in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred
• Experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel will be an added advantage
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also be considered
• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Certification or training in food safety or hygiene (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of English; additional languages are an advantage
