As a Tailor under the Uniform Room department, you will be conducting fittings for over 6,000 employees in the resort, making necessary adjustments and alterations, complete tailoring requests by guests, and occasionally participating to creating or reviewing new uniform samples. Background in pattern making, male/female suiting, having worked in a sample room will be an advantage as we are constantly reviewing and renewing our uniform to match the brand of the Company. You will also be required to review size specifications/fit line that suits our needs. You will ensure daily that the uniforms are in good condition and always available. You will repair hems of bed sheets, pillowcases, tablecloths, napkins, table sets whenever it is possible.
Ideally, we’d love you to have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a tailor, preferably within a fast-paced environment and experience either in garment factory or hotel industry. You need to have to be able to communicate in English, being friendly with strong interpersonal skills.
