About The Role

  • Ensure colleagues are working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.   
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.  
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness 
  • Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies 
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests 
  • Conduct regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with the departmental SOP’s 
  • Monitor duty roster for the team 
  • Work towards the timely set up of the assigned Food & Beverage outlet, according to the meal settings and in line with the opening hours 
  • Deep knowledge of the outlets’ menu, promotional activities and other relevant issues concerning the outlet  
  • Ensure that an effective link is maintained between kitchen and service areas 
  • Consistently monitor Food and Beverages being served and service quality, escalating any major problems/complaints to Management 
  • Upsell food and beverages to maximize revenues 

About You

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant 
  • International experience preferred 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills 
  • Committed to and passionate about the food and beverage industry 
  • Willing to work flexible hours
