About the Role
This role is to assist the Managers with the day-to-day operations, general maintenance, and forecasting of future maintenance and operational activities for the Water Park Engineering department, which includes the Water Treatment Plants (WTP) for swimming pools, water park pools, and water features. Support the implementation of appropriate measures to minimize disruption to hotel operations and ensure the highest standards are consistently maintained.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in the formulation of staff rosters, staff pairing, assignments, and ensuring the safety of all personnel required to fully operate and maintain all Water Park Rides, Pools, and Water Features.
• Ensure optimal utilization of all necessary staff for the maintenance and continuous operation of all Water Park Rides, Pools, and Water Features.
• Contribute to decision-making on various aspects of the daily operations of the Water Park Rides, Pools, and Water Features.
• Oversee the treatment, distribution, and daily operations of the Water Park Rides, Pools, and Water Features.
• Supervise teams of operators, inspectors, and other crew members.
• Ensure periodic testing and analysis are conducted to maintain the appropriate quality of water for different applications.
• Assist in developing and implementing plant operation and maintenance policies and procedures.
• Ensure the plant and its operators comply with health standards by regularly testing the water supply and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all equipment is in proper working order and condition.
• Hold regular discussions with your team and keep your Assistant Manager/Manager informed of any relevant developments.
About You
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in large resorts or water parks and be proficient in managing complex aquatic systems. Fluency in English is essential.
