With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned, Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai.

With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort’s success, and your role goes beyond serving food and beverages to our guests. As a Lounge Waitress, your responsibilities extend beyond serving food and beverages, as you contribute to creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience.

In this role, you will support the service team in delivering smooth and efficient lounge operations. Your duties will include preparing the lounge for service, assisting with taking and delivering orders, clearing and resetting tables, and coordinating closely with the kitchen and bar teams. You will help maintain high service standards, ensure guest comfort and satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of daily operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting lounge atmosphere.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and attentive presence to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Prepare all mise en place accurately and efficiently before service begins.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders promptly while delivering a high level of hospitality.
• Maintain good knowledge of the lounge menu, beverages, and promotions to assist guests effectively.
• Ensure the lounge setup, cleanliness, and presentation always meet resort standards.
• Create and maintain a clean, organized, and professional working environment.
• Support senior team members and bartenders by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
• Present a professional appearance and always uphold grooming standards.
• Stay informed about daily resort updates, lounge events, and special promotions.
• Report any breakages, shortages, or equipment issues promptly to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Attend team briefings, meetings, and required training sessions.
• Communicate effectively and maintain strong teamwork with colleagues.
• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and a service-oriented attitude in all guest interactions.
• Support sustainability practices, including energy and water conservation.
• Maintain excellent personal hygiene and strictly follow food safety and hygiene standards.

A suitable candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant environment, with basic food and beverage knowledge. Strong presentation, good communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential. Fluency in English is required, and an additional language is an advantage.
