About the job.
Collaborate direct and professionally matter with all the assigned responsibilities for his/her development in reservations department, the goal is guarantee the fully satisfaction of our guest .
- Answer phone calls according to the company's established Telephone Etiquette standards, with the purpose of concluding the sale by offering the Resort's services and ensuring the complete satisfaction of our guests.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the different types of rooms, suites, and villas offered by the Resort.
- Be familiar with the Resort's services, as well as the main features of each.
- Be familiar with the different rates and seasons that the Resort has within its rate structure.
- Be familiar with the deposit and cancellation policies for each season.
- Capture new reservations, make changes, and cancel any reservations generated on the day through any of the sales channels, such as wholesale, group, and FIT.
- Review reservations with a guarantee or deposit time limit.
- Apply deposits to reservations according to company policy.
- Process credit card refunds for reservations canceled outside of policy.
- Prepare a daily report of credit card charges and refunds applied that day for the Compliance Department.
- Respond to correspondence received via email or fax related to reservations.
- Prepare and send confirmation letters along with the preference plans for generated reservations via email or fax.
- Enter group rooming lists into the Opera system.
- Create daily and monthly folders to archive future reservation records.
- Enter the information received on our guests' personal preference plans into the Opera system and email the departments involved.
- Organize and review daily files, ensuring that each reservation includes all information, such as flight information, personal preferences, special requests, celebrations, repeat guest status, city and country of origin, names and number of people traveling, among other details.
About You
- Educational level of Bachelor
- Advanced English skills speaking / writing
- One year experience as a minimum
- Office package
- Operation of Opera or Fidelio preferable
