About the job.
Under the guidance of the lead therapist, the spa therapist is responsible for providing treatments to guests to ensure the highest technical and service standards
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Administration
• Maintains the privacy and ensures the safety of guests.
• Arrives on duty promptly and according to the department's service list, wearing a clean and proper uniform and spa pin.
• Adheres to grooming and uniform standards at all times.
• Is aware of all emergency procedures, hotel promotions, hotel product knowledge, VIP arrivals, VIP at Home, and eventsBe fully familiar with the spa software system.
Customer Service
• Offers spa treatment protocols to guests with the highest technical and service standards.
• Possesses complete knowledge of the spa therapy team's product, sales protocols, and operations.
• Sells more spa services and retail products, meeting personal and budgetary goals.
• Assists the lead therapist with product inventory.
• Identifies and anticipates guest needs and requirements.
• Supports and assists senior management.
• Demonstrates and reinforces cultural values and characteristics.
• Works closely, collaboratively, and flexibly with other departments, in a spirit of teamwork.
• Attends training sessions and meetings as required.
• Has a thorough understanding of the duties of the host team and the spa assistant. • Adhere to all spa Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Ensure that the presentation of your assigned area meets the agreed-upon standard at all times.
• Ensure that all guest services are presented to the agreed-upon standard at all times.
• Always be an asset to the Spa brand by enhancing the Spa's reputation.
• Treat with confidentiality any information disclosed by clients during their visit to the Spa.
• Ensure that all guests are welcomed positively and warmly.
• Attend and participate in a training and development program to ensure full competence in the Spa treatment menu, including product knowledge, sales protocols, and operation of spa therapy equipment.
• Communicate positively and constructively with all staff and guests, ensuring a cooperative team effort in daily operations.
• Participate in daily operations meetings with the spa team. • When possible, assist in the presentation of all spa facilities.
• Adhere to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure optimal levels of cleanliness and hygiene in treatment rooms and related areas.
• Ensure all treatments are prepared effectively and promptly.
• Assist in linen inventory control.

• Intermediate English proficiency
