About the role
The Attendant laundry is primarily responsible for linen product quality, linen inventory control and sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items. The Attendant laundry is responsible for the laundering processes and Guest laundry in the absence of the Assistant Manager Laundry refers to Assistant Executive Housekeeper/ Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
- Complete wash cycles, folding of linen and correct storage.
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
- Performing minor sewing duties.
- Tracking which items belong to whom.
- Ensuring that the facility always remains clean
- Ensure the linen is delivered to the rooms when required.
- Attendant laundry is responsible for working as an Attendant Uniform and rotates with it, if necessary.
- Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs.
- To assist with any other duties as required by the Director or another member of the management team.
Skills, experience and educational requirements
- Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures
- Strong ability to follow verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage, but not generally required
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and managers
- Be ready for flexible schedule
- Mantain posiive attitude and body language at all time

Βασικά καθήκοντα και αρμοδιότητες
- Είναι υπεύθυνος για την διαλογή, το πλύσιμο, το στέγνωμα, το σιδέρωμα και το δίπλωμα ενδυμάτων και άλλων υφασμάτινων ειδών.
- Είναι υπεύθυνος για τους κύκλους πλύσης, το δίπλωμα του ιματισμού και τη σωστή αποθήκευση.
- Είναι υπεύθυνος για την αφαίρεση των λεκέδων από τα αντικείμενα με τη χρήση των κατάλληλων διαδικασιών.
- Είναι υπεύθυνος για την εκτέλεση μικρών καθηκόντων ραψίματος.
- Παρακολουθεί σε ποιον ανήκει κάθε αντικείμενο.
- Διασφαλίζει ότι οι εγκατάστασεις παραμένουν πάντα καθαρές.
- Διασφαλίζει την παράδοση των σεντονιών στα δωμάτια όταν απαιτείται.
- Είναι υπεύθυνος για την εργασία ως φροντιστής στολών και εναλλάσσεται με αυτόν, εάν είναι απαραίτητο.
- Συντηρεί όλο τον εξοπλισμό πλυντηρίου και ενημερώνει τον υπεύθυνο εγκαταστάσεων για τυχόν ανάγκες συντήρησης.
- Συνδράμει σε οποιαδήποτε άλλα καθήκοντα απαιτούνται από τον διευθυντή ή άλλο μέλος της ομάδας διαχείρισης.

- Γνώση των προμηθειών και των διαδικασιών καθαρισμού
- Ικανότητα να ακολουθεί οδηγίες
- Ικανότητα αυτόνομης εργασίας χωρίς άμεση επίβλεψη
- Προηγούμενη εμπειρία στον καθαρισμό αποτελεί πλεονέκτημα
- Ικανότητα αποτελεσματικής επικοινωνίας με τους επισκέπτες, τους συναδέλφους και τους διευθυντές
