Job Summary
Houseman’s responsibility is to provide quality service in all Rooms and Guest Public Areas that exceeds Guest’s expectations. Houseman must demonstrate genuine concern for Guests while ensuring friendly, safe, efficient and professional service. In order to consistently exceed Guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional housekeeping services in guest rooms and public areas, exceeding guest expectations.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations, including proper use of chemicals.
- Perform general and deep cleaning of rooms, corridors, pantries, buggies, and service areas.
- Clean and maintain furniture, carpets, rugs, walls, ceilings, windows, metalwork, and wooden surfaces.
- Handle linen: collect soiled linen, distribute clean linen, replenish par stock, and assist with storage.
- Remove trash and ensure proper disposal from rooms, pantries, poolside, and service areas.
- Deliver guest-requested items (towels, cribs, cots, etc.) and assist with extra bed setup.
- Assist housekeeping staff with heavy lifting during spring/super cleaning and other tasks as needed.
- Maintain organized, clean, and orderly pantries and storage areas.
- Report defects promptly and follow up for resolution; log lost and found items accurately.
- Adhere to grooming standards and foster positive, team-oriented working relationships with all colleagues.
- Maintain accountability for assigned Master Key and other responsibilities as delegated by management.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Education High School
- Attention to details orientated
- Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and managers
- Be ready for flexible schedule
- Mantain posiive attitude and body language at all time
