Job Summary
Guest focused Resort Manager who will be assisting the GM by overseeing the daily management and providing strategic direction of the operations. Planning and supervising the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of business and to enhance customer dedication and expand clientele by strengthening the Resort reputation and the guest experience. The successful candidate would be required to ensure the Resort continually exceeds guest expectations and establishes an environment that motivates colleagues and that helps for their development and growth. Needs to ensure compliance with licensing laws, health, hygiene and safety and other statutory regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Communicate with guests and engage them (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)
• To oversee the daily operations of the resort as well as provide strategic direction and clear objectives for (F&B service and culinary, Events, Rooms & Activities, SPA, Engineering, Securit)
• Plan activities and allocate responsibilities, supervising an extensive large workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of business and achieve the most efficient operating model
• Work Closely with Marketing & Sales to develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services
• Deal with maintenance issues, equipment, renovations, manning etc.
• Collaborate with partners and ensure the best are selected to work with.
• Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
• Work closely with the quality management department.
• Ensure updated processes and procedures are implemented and applied to guarantee compliance.
• Ensure quality and service standards are well understood and applied by all colleagues & leaders, set and follow high targets and support the team for achieving them.
• Ensure learning & development plans are set and followed for the operational teams
• Set Colleagues Engagement action plans and follow to ensure satisfaction, loyalty and dedication of the teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring seamless coordination and operational efficiency across all resort departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Conduct regular reviews of operational efficiency and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in identified areas of improvement to drive service excellence and optimize performance outcomes
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
• Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree will be an asseet
• Experience as Hotel Manager or relevant senior leadership role, minimum of 5 years
• International working experience required, in luxury properties with brand standards
• Strong background in F&B plus experience in hotel operations.
• Strong leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English, proficiency in other languages would be an advantage
• Outstanding aptitude in decision making and problem solving
• A business mindset: strong in planning & organizing & analysing figures and market, with a strong financial acumen
