About the Role
As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our IT systems. Reporting to the IT Supervisor, this role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensuring seamless IT operations across all hotel departments.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first-line technical support to staff and guests, ensuring IT systems run smoothly.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Cisco, VMware, Active Directory, Opera, and MicroSymphony.
• Support the maintenance of servers, network infrastructure, and security systems.
• Assist with system updates, backups, cybersecurity measures, and IT asset management.
• Work closely with the IT Supervisor and IT Manager to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related services and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity protocols.
• Provide basic IT training to staff when necessary.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
• A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or specialist role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Hands-on experience with:
o Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune
o Cisco networking and VMware
o Active Directory (user and group management)
o Opera and MicroSymphony hotel systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (Greek is a plus).
• Certifications such as CCNA or Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, or Azure-related) are a plus.
