Position Summary

The Waiter plays a pivotal role in shaping an elevated dining journey for every guest. The position requires a service professional who embodies warmth, attentiveness and precision, ensuring each interaction contributes to a memorable and seamless experience. This role operates at the front line of guest engagement, translating the property’s service philosophy into consistent, high-quality delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistently professional, courteous and engaging service at every guest interaction.
  • Prepare and maintain table settings, ensuring the dining area remains immaculate and welcoming.
  • Greet guests warmly, guide them through the menu and anticipate their needs throughout the experience.
  • Arrive punctually in full uniform, aligned with grooming and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with the service and culinary teams to uphold smooth operational flow.
  • Manage orders accurately, monitor pacing and support the team during peak service periods.
  • Maintain a fully stocked and organized workstation to optimize efficiency.
  • Uphold strict hygiene protocols and adhere to all Food & Beverage regulations.
  • Handle equipment and supplies responsibly, safeguarding operational readiness.
  • Complete assigned side duties to support overall restaurant performance.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a reputable restaurant or catering environment with elevated service standards.
  • Strong communication abilities with confidence in guest-facing interactions.
  • Solid command of the English language, both spoken and understood.
  • Familiarity with Micros or similar POS systems is considered an advantage.
  • Prior exposure to a luxury resort environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
