Job Summary
Housekeeping Attendant’s primary responsibility is to provide quality service in all Guest Rooms, PA and BOH spaces, Laundry and venues as per the SOP. Housekeeping Attendant must demonstrate genuine concern for Guests while ensuring friendly, safe, efficient and professional service. In order to consistently exceed Guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Exceed Guest expectations of Housekeeping services, responsible for the cleanliness of Guest rooms, Publica Area and Back of House, work in Laundry and Uniform room by ensuring that rooms and all other spaces are cleaned in accordance with the require any of One&Only Portonovi standards.
- Responsible for deep cleanliness of Guest rooms, Laundry, PA and BOH spaces and venues in any assigned section, as well as work in the Laundry and Uniform room
- Ensure balconies and furniture is kept clean.
- Ensure hallway/corridor/pantry/PA spaces/BOH and lockers are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure carpets in Guest Rooms, Hallways/ Corridors/ Lobby/ Restaurants/ Bars/ Elevators/ Offices are kept clean through daily spotting and vacuuming.
- Meticulously adhere to the standard operating procedures pertaining to cleaning, sanitization and set up in Guest Rooms/ PA and BoH spaces and venues as well as in the Laundry and Uniform room
- Adhere to the company’s standards regarding dress and appearance.

Skills, experience and educational requirements
- Strong ability to pull and push work-related equipment, such as a loaded housekeeping cart, single disk floor machinery etc..
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for a long period of time
- Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights
- Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills
- Strong ability to follow verbal instructions
- Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Attention to details orientated
- Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage, but not generally required
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and managers
- Be ready for flexible schedule
- Solid References
- Strong knowledge of all Hotel facilities, their service and working hours
- Mantain posiive attitude and body language at all time
