Spa Director will drive and lead our stunning 4000 sq m Medical Spa facility, aiming to deliver the highest levels of guest satisfaction, maximizing opportunities and resources, leading spa team towards performance excellence, maintaining quality standards, boosting spa offerings and revenue streams.
Operational Management
- Ensure that the facility is adequately manned at all times.
- Set an example at all times in standards of professionalism, attitude and appearance as required from the staff.
- To oversee weekly colleague schedules for therapists, receptionists and attendants and keep attendance records and time sheets.
- To oversee the monthly inventories of products, stock and linen.
- To initiate and track all product orders including purchase and general stores
Team Management
- Provide leadership, direction and support to the employees at the Spa to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver high standards of service in all areas.
- Motivate, encourage and drive the team, and to maintain the correct level of professional and qualified team, overseeing all facilities and activities within the Spa
- Develop and execute annual hiring plan with HR team ensuring appropriate levels of qualified workforce
- Develop an annual training plan with spa supervisors and ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business.
- To hold a daily Spa briefing and a weekly Spa department/ Spa sections.
Financial & Commercial
- Prepare monthly financial and statistical reports for the Hotel General Manager and EAM, incorporating proposals and recommendations regarding policy and operation at the Spa, competition, occupancy and usage, market share and achievement of targets.
- Monitor spa performance through KPIs, linking results with sales and marketing activities.
- To develop and submit an annual budget and Commercial plan for the Spa, and regularly review the commercial plan and budget.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis.
- Liaise with Sales and Marketing Department to prepare and develop the marketing plans for the year. Coordinate all promotional plans and projects for the facility.
Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Carry out regular Health and Safety reviews to ensure the spa meets legal requirements.
- To conduct daily inspections of the Spa to monitor ambience, maintenance, cleanliness, health and safety, colleague performance and security.
- To be knowledgeable of the contraindications of services and products and act in accordance.
