Job Summary
To work on a rotation basis within the various areas of the Housekeeping, providing a courteous and efficient service and maximum guest satisfaction to the standard required by the hotel
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and have tag at all times.
- To collect the section key and room report from the housekeeping office & return them at the end of the shift.
- To clean the Guest corridors:
- Carper
- hard flooring in the Clusters
- all the furnishing
- lighting fixtures
- landing
- elevators in and out
- windows
- draperies
- To clean the Guest rooms
- assisting in the day-to-day operations in rooms, villas and private homes.
- To clean all the BOH Guest Corridors:
- Staircases
- HK pantries
- Elevators in and out
- Carry deep cleaning in the corridors and BOH, FOH when scheduled using heavy duty machinery.
- To assist maintaining all the Guest rooms upholstery such as sofas, chairs…
- To inspect all facilities, furniture, and fixtures, and report any damage to the Supervisor for action and follow- up.
- To remove all trash in the BOH, FOH. Ensure that trash bins are thoroughly cleaned at least once a week.
- To assist delivering and removing all the guest calls items, the flowers, fruits and ice as guided by the Office Coordinator
- To rotate guest mattresses when required and instructed by Exec HKP
- Respond to any changes in the housekeeping function as indicated by the Company, Hotel, and Industry.
- Knows the fire & safety procedures of the hotel.
- Performs his job as per the standard required by the hotel
- Participates in the multi-skilling philosophy of the department.
