We are seeking a professional and experienced Boat Skipper to operate motor yachts and transfer vessels, ensuring safe navigation and delivering a high level of service to our guests.
Requirements:
- Valid license for operating motor vessels of the appropriate category, preferably:
- Boat Skipper Category B – minimum requirement for operating vessels of this size and power
- Boat Skipper Category C or equivalent professional license – preferred for commercial use and passenger transport
- Internationally recognized licenses such as RYA Yachtmaster Coastal, RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, or Master of Yacht – considered an advantage
- Authorization for commercial vessel operation / passenger transport, in accordance with vessel registration and Harbour Master requirements
- Preference will be given to candidates with professional maritime licenses for commercial passenger transport
- Valid seaman’s book / certificate of competency
- Proven experience in operating motor yachts or transfer vessels
- Good knowledge of the Bay of Kotor navigation area
- Strong understanding of maritime safety procedures and guest handling
- Active knowledge of English language
- Professional attitude and experience working with high-end clientele
Preferred Certifications:
- STCW Basic Safety Training
- VHF Radio Operator Certificate
- First Aid Certification / Basic Medical Training
- Experience working on charter or hospitality vessels
- Commercial endorsement / professional skipper license
Responsibilities:
- Operating the vessel during transfers and excursions
- Ensuring the safety of passengers at all times
- Performing daily technical checks of the vessel
- Communicating with marinas and relevant authorities
- Maintaining a high standard of service and guest experience
