About the Role

 

Host Assistant Manager is expected to have a smart and neat appearance, which reflects the high standards of One&Only Kea Island.  The Host Assistant Manager is also expected to have a critical eye for details in terms of cleanliness, hygiene, and service. Knows how to manage and motivate a team of Hosts (Butler). The Host Assistant Manager is there to support the Host Manager in his/her duty and ensure the needs and flow of the operation and teams are met.Their interpersonal abilities make them an exceptional point of contact with every guest, to ensure their stay is as seamless and memorable as possible. At the same time, their analytical minds and composed character allow them to be the primary line of defense to prevent and solve any possible complaints. A meticulous planning and strategy are fundamental to succeed in achieving all financial and operational goals set throughout the year. Their instinctive leadership empowers them to coordinate and orchestrate the operation with an efficient yet luxurious approach.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure an overall smooth operation of the Host department (Butler).
  • Schedule the Host Team (Butler)
  • Implement suggestive selling techniques to sell and promote services of the resort
  • Control & Monitor key Guest satisfaction data and action on issues and share successes
  • Continuously monitor the Hosts’ performance and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Supervision of Hosts and Team Leader consists of grooming standards, coordination, checking and completion of the assigned duties.
  • Coordinate daily Arrival and Departure experience.
  • Support the Host team with any task during rush times.
  • Maintain intra-departmental relations and communication to achieve synergy within the department and the daily operation. 
  • Ensure service is personalized and One&Only moments are created to the guest. 
  • Monitor Standard Operating Procedure for the Host department

 

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

 

  • English Level: Fluent (100%)
  • Proficient in MS Office, ALICE and Micros Opera.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Natural leadership and management abilities.
  • Qualified financial analyst with billing knowledge.
  • Critical thinker and a remarkable problem solver.
  • Expertise in product and brand knowledge.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Use of ALICE and OPERA preferably
