About the role
The hair stylist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while providing a full range of top-notch hair treatments and grooming services. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to providing a personalized and luxurious experience for each guest.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Development:
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, styles, and techniques to offer innovative and contemporary services.
- Provide personalized consultations to guests, offering suggestions and advice tailored to their preferences and hair type.
- Maintain a portfolio of work showcasing a variety of styles and techniques.
Product:
- Educate guests on proper hair care routines and recommend appropriate hair products for at-home maintenance.
- Stay informed about new haircare and styling products, recommending and promoting them to guests.
Operations:
- Execute a range of hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments, with precision and creativity.
- Provide personalized consultations, ensuring an in-depth understanding of guests' preferences and hair care needs, and delivering bespoke services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper sanitization of tools and equipment.
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a Hair Stylist preferably in a luxury salon or resort setting.
- Proficiency in a variety of cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of haircare products and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a fluency in English.
- An internationally accredited Hair Stylist certification from an accredited institution.
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
- Passion for staying current with industry trends and continuous learning.
